Think the gestures and hand signals you've been giving are universal? As it turns out...not so much.

Depending on where you travel to, the hand signs you're used to giving can be misconstrued to mean something completely different. Surprisingly, common hand gestures like a thumbs-up, crossing your fingers or even beckoning someone with your finger, can have extremely rude meanings in other countries and cultures.
